ESPON EGTC and the German Presidency of the EU Council organise 'ESPON Week: Just Transition and Recovery for Cities and Regions in Europe' in mid-November.
The week kicks off with the launch of a new edition of TerritoriALL magazine featuring video messages and articles from high-level politicians and experts, as well as ESPON researchers. The thematic focus is on the territorial impact of COVID-19.
On 18 November (14.00-15.00), ESPONtalk tackles the topic 'Is energy decarbonization compatible with just economic transition for regions and cities' in an interactive live debate.
On 19 November (10.30-11.30), ESPONWeek debate 'Can Just Transition bring recovery for regions and cities?' gathers high-level politicians around the same virtual table to share views and thoughts.
