In 2020, the European Week of Regions and Cities will take place during 5-22 October. In the exceptional context marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditionally four-day-long event will be spread over three consecutive weeks. Each of the weeks will have their own focus:
- 5-9 October: Empowering Citizens,
- 12-16 October: Cohesion and cooperation,
- 19-22 October: Green Europe (in cooperation with the Green Week).
This edition of #EURegionsWeek is bigger than ever before, featuring more than 500 sessions. However, to ensure health and safety of participants, partners and speaker, majority of the sessions will be fully digital. Certain key events and exhibition will be physically organised in Brussels.
Interreg Europe will be present throughout the event. In particular, you can meet us (in person or online) during:
- 12-16 October: five online sessions and a physical exhibition stand and pitch talk in the Cooperation Village
Furthermore, several Interreg Europe projects organise sessions and activities during the weeks. More information and session schedule will be published in August.
