Due to the current situation, it has been decided that the EU Green Week 2020 will not take place in June as originally foreseen. The event is now scheduled for 20-22 October.
EU Green Week 2020 focuses on the theme of nature and biodiversity. The discussions explore the role of biodiversity in society and the bioeconomy. Particular attention will be paid on the role of nature and biodiversity in supporting and stimulating recovery and growth in the post-pandemic world. It will also be used as an opportunity reflect on the European Green Deal, and to rethink our relationship with nature, to reconsider the activities that are driving biodiversity loss and the wider ecological crisis, and to weigh up the implications for our economy and society.
