In the context of the Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) - a concept jointly developed by the European Committee of the Regions and DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission to present new R&I solutions in response to societal challenges facing regions and cities - the Committee of the Regions hosts a thematic seminar on Industry 4.0.
The aim of the seminar is to raise awareness and foster exchange of information and best practice between the European Commission and the EU regions as well as among the regions. Experts, local and regional authorities and EU policy makers will have a chance to get an update on the state-of-play on Industry 4.0 policy developments and discuss the coordination of different funding programmes to advance R&I on local and regional level.
