The European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions organise a conference on 'Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: a Common Agenda to 2020 and Beyond' on 23-24 May 2019. The objective of the event is to take stock of achievements, pool lessons learned and reflect on main challenges for the future. The conference marks also the starting point for the public consultation of the final evaluation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy to 2020.
The agenda is divided in two parts:

The first day of the conference brings together EU policy-makers and stakeholders to discuss achievements in the field of nature and biodiversity, as well as reflect on the state of biodiversity and challenges for the future.
Stakeholder consultation on the Final evaluation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy to 2020
Friday, 24 May (9:15-17:30), Room JDE52 & Atrium 5 - European Committee of the Regions, Brussels
