The 6th edition of the European Cluster Conference takes place in Bucharest, Romania, from 14 to 16 May 2019 with a title 'Connecting Ecosystems: Bridge. Inspire. Change'.
Organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs in cooperation with the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the event brings together 400 cluster policy-makers, cluster managers, practitioners and other stakeholders.
The programme features policy discussions, practical good practice examples of cluster policies and support for sustainable industrial modernisation and interregional cooperation. Topics covered in the discussions include digitisation and skills gap, circular economy, shared value and social impact. Particular focus is on building bridges among the different actors of the cluster community.
