The third edition of European Industry Days will be organised in Brussels on 5-6 February 2018.
The event brings together representatives from the European Commission, different industry sectors, public authorities, business and trade unions, as well as other stakeholders. It follow on the path of developing a joint vision for the future of European industry, building on outcomes of the earlier editions in 2017 and 2018.
Thematic areas of 2019 are:
- industry and sustainability
- industry and globalisation
- innovation and digitalisation
The European Industry Days covers policy sessions organised by the European Commission, stakeholder sessions on different topics, as well as local, regional and national events organised across Europe.
Stakeholders from any sector of industry or the research and innovation community had an opportunity to submit a proposal to organise a 1,5 hour session during the event. 15 workshops were selected to be part of the official programme. The call closed on 30 September 2018 (see the call for expressions of interest and application form for more information)
