The third edition of European Industry Days will be organised in Brussels on 5-6 February 2018.
The event brings together representatives from the European Commission, different industry sectors, public authorities, business and trade unions, as well as other stakeholders. It follow on the path of developing a joint vision for the future of European industry, building on outcomes of the earlier editions in 2017 and 2018.
Thematic areas of 2019 are:
- industry and sustainability
- industry and globalisation
- innovation and digitalisation
The European Industry Days covers policy sessions organised by the European Commission, stakeholder sessions on different topics, as well as local, regional and national events organised across Europe.
Apply to organise a stakeholder session by 30 September
Stakeholders from any sector of industry or the research and innovation community can submit a proposal to organise a 1,5 hour session during the event. Up to 15 workshops will be selected to be part of the official programme. See the call for expressions of interest and submit your proposal by 30 September (Brussels time).
Express interest to organise a local event by 30 September
Call for proposals is open also to organise local events under the 'European Industry Week' brand. Organisers are free to structure local events in their preferred format, duration and venue.
