The 16th edition of CIVITAS Forum takes place in Umeå (Sweden), 19-21 September 2018. The forum is dedicated to sustainable mobility.
During the event, policymakers, city representatives, academics, and practitioners will have an opportunity to discuss sustainable urban mobility issues and be inspired by pioneering solutions for cleaner, better transport in Europe in interactive workshops, sessions and site visits.
The host city, Umeå, is in itself a great examples of sustainable urban development. The city adopted its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan in 2011 and has since worked consistently for greener transport. Various sustainable mobility measures have been implemented and are being developed. One example of already existing solutions is the city's award-winning ultra-fast charging electric bus initiative.
Attendance is free of charge. You can also follow the event on social media with #CIVITAS2018.
