Join hundreds of cities at URBACT City Festival in Tallinn from 3 to 5 October 2017 and be inspired by urban good practices from across Europe.
Thanks to this City Festival local governments and urban practitioners will be able to discover, learn from, and adapt in their own cities up to 97 Good city Practices across Europe. Practices tackle a wide range of urban topics from social inclusion and integration of migrants, to local economic development, participatory budget, biodiversity, air quality, food, sharing economy, mobility and transport, and urban governance.
Through structured exchanges and unstructured encounters, participants will have the chance to hear about these initiatives and exchange with the urban professionals directly responsible for them. If you are an urban practitioner, a policymaker or an elected representative at local, regional, national or international level: you will find good practices in the Festival for you. In addition to networking opportunities, you can thus get some great ideas for implementing back home and set your city on a course for better policy delivery.
Under the programme of the Estonian presidency of the Council of the EU, URBACT City Festival is one of the most expected urban events of the year with more than 450 expected participants. During the Festival, the URBACT Secretariat will present a new call for city networks with the objective to transfer a number of good practices to other cities.
Registration for the Festival is free of charge, but compulsory. Places are limited and interest is high so register now!
