European Cooperation Day is on 21 September and the surrounding days!
Many cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation programmes organise an event during the week for people who are normally not involved in EU-related activities to showcase project results and highlight the importance of territorial cooperation.
See a listing of events on the #ECday website and join the celebrations to mark the achievements of territorial cooperation in your region and around Europe.
In the past editions, people cycled together, sang together, ate together, and in general had a wonderful time in each other’s company in hundreds of local events organised by territorial cooperation programmes and projects in over 30 countries.
EC day photo competition
You can take part in the European Cooperation Day celebrations also by participating in the online photo competition “Cycling around Europe with friends” and win a camera!
The competition starts on 27 June and will be open for photo submissions until 27 August 2017. The participants need to send photos showing a place in Europe they have visited with their friend/s by riding bicycles.
