With partners from Italy, Germany, Estonia and Romania the project team of government department and ministry officers, innovation specialists, university academics and renewable energy practitioners will be examining the policies and strategies that support the deployment of renewable energy sources (RES) and technologies. Considering target trajectories and then GIS mapping infrastructure, potential/theoretical/exploitable energy assets the team will critically analyse and interrogate what net-zero opportunities there are, the working at the country or regional level support delivery of RES from the learning, intelligence systems created and networks created. Ultimately the project will inform future EU and domestic funding and policy evolution.
