The region of Extremadura (Spain) is well ahead in the implementation of the Action Plan produced in the framework of INTRA project to improve the services provided to the SMEs in their internationalisation. 

In this sense, and in addition to the several webinars organised throughout 2020 by EXTREMADURA AVANTE, a new activity has been launched: "Promotion of Alimentos de Extremadura in the Marketplace". Starting in August 2020, it will end in December of the same year and will count with the participation of 12 regional companies (previously selected from a total of 39 applicants) belonging to different agro-food families.

Alibaba is the largest platform in the world with more than 150 million buying companies and more than 6 million selling companies registered. This "virtual shopping centre" serves to facilitate the sale between the seller and the buyer, ensuring that the transaction takes place in the best and safest conditions.

The implementation of this promotional action, financed by ERDF Funds, is made up of different milestones, starting with an "Analysis of the information relating to the 12 participating companies", going through the "Design and Creation of a Minisite" and ending with the "Referral of Business Opportunities" to the participating companies.
