The Heronshaw School in Milton Keynes has made the switch towards low-carbon energy upon learning of government funding available for them to use. Energy-saving measures such as solar panels and LED lights were installed to reduce the school’s greenhouse gas emissions. Since then, the school has seen 72% of energy savings, 296 tonnes carbon reduction and £192, 832 of financial savings.

The financial access coupled with the technical support incentivised the local school to start their journey towards net zero emissions and a greener learning environment.
