The Policy Learning Platform is back with a new workshop series!

Following the high demand for addressing Industry 4.0 and digitalisation topics among the Interreg Europe community members, we designed for you two consecutive online workshops on this topic and from two different perspectives.

We kick-off on 3 November 2021 by focusing on industry 4.0 infrastructure and deployment and we continue on 10 November to assess the digital transition of European SMEs

What you can expect

The term ‘Industry 4.0’ or the fourth industrial revolution, refers to ‘the use in industrial production of recent, and often interconnected, digital technologies that enable new and more efficient processes, and which in some cases yield new goods and services’ (OECD, 2017, p. 27).

The digital transformation of the European economy and public sector is of vital importance to ensure Europe’s competitive advantage in the global economy and to deliver growth and jobs.

Both workshops are meant to showcase inspiring experiences and good practices from the Interreg Europe community, and to provide guidance and recommendations on fostering the digital transformation and Industry 4.0 for regional competitiveness.
