MATCHER (https://www.match-er.com/) is the International Open Innovation program based in Emilia-Romagna region that aims at supporting local companies to address specific business challenges by creating strategic matches with other actors of the international innovation ecosystem, in particular green start-ups and scale-ups.
2021 competition is now opened, all the events will focus on Green Deal key topics: efficient use of resources, moving to a clean and circular economy.
At the moment they are in the program timeline's 3rd phase, that will end up on 30th November 2021. Applicant startups will be admitted to the program if they satisfy two criteria. The first one takes into account a high-level fit with the challenges of the Corporate partners; the second one is based on the maturity of the applicant.
It will end on 16th December 2021, with the "Final Match" closing event, where innovative corporations, startups and research laboratories from all over the world will meet to enrich each other; an Open Innovation Event with keynotes from international guests and inspiring talks.
