The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, lead partner of the GPP STREAM Project is organizing a stakeholder meeting on 28 November at 10.30 to discuss about critical issues and opportunities for the green public procurement - GPP
The stakeholders through focus groups will discuss on how to:
• improve the governance of supply policies by ensuring that they are oriented towards achieving sustainable development and resource efficiency objectives;
• improve the competence in planning and implementing public procurement policies;
• improve information on green public procurement and related benefits both in economic and environmental terms;
• improve the skills and tools for verifying the green criteria in the evaluation phases of the offers and the management and execution of the contracts;
• support the dissemination of green procurement processes that can have a significant impact on the market and on the creation of environmental benefits;
• improve methods and practices for accounting and GPP monitoring.
All these contributions will be considered as inputs for the drafting of the Action Plan.
