Greenfeel - A Community Rooted in Nature

About this good practice
Green Feel, located in Ronat, Timisoara, is a private initiative transformed into a vibrant green hub through active community involvement starting 2019. The space has grown into a model of sustainability and inclusion, offering a variety of activities that bring people and nature closer together.
At Green Feel, residents and visitors can enjoy community gardens inspired by the "Grădinescu" concept, outdoor co-working and socializing areas known as "Meet in Nature", and a rich calendar of workshops and events focused on sustainable living. Topics include biodiversity, beekeeping, composting, ecological cooking, and natural construction methods.
The entire space was developed through a participatory co-design process, where local residents contributed directly to shaping the vision and functions of the community hub. This approach fosters a strong sense of ownership and belonging.

It provides open access to green spaces and educational opportunities, encourages participation from people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and promotes shared decision-making in community development.
