This is the good practice's implementation level. It can be national, regional or local.
About this good practice
Galicia aims to increase the level of R&D by fostering the cooperation between SMEs and the other agents of the regional innovation system, through the support of market-oriented research, development of innovation projects aligned with the challenges and priorities identified in the Galician Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3). One of the challenges of the Galicia RIS3 is the promotion of a new healthy lifestyle model based on active ageing, the same challenge TITTAN project aims to tackle.
The program is targeted to consortium between 2 and 6 companies (SMEs preferably) with collaborative projects. At least one of the members of the consortium needs to be a small company and one public research centre has to be involved in the project with a significant role. The research centre selected will be outsourced by at least one of the members of the consortium with a minimum budget of 15% and a maximum of 25% of the total budget of the project.
It is also required that all the members of the consortium has their headquarters in Galicia and develop their activities in the region. They are allowed to outsource up to 50% of the activity, if needed.
In order to be eligible, the total budget of the project should be between 0,5 and 1,5M€ with a duration from 2 to 3 years.
