The cycling-related topics to be tackled are threefold, lying in the common challenges affecting the daily life of European cities, including:
1. How climate change affects daily activities of citizens / urban planning aspects in terms of cycling.
2. How cycling policies can react to the presence of vulnerable groups.
3. Safety issues as a horizontal aspect.

In line with the challenges, the following indicative list has been defined as a thematic outline:
1. Climate resiliency: how to fit cycling infrastructure and related PT modes in the grey, green, blue urban infrastructure – logistics, nature-based solutions, city cooling, innovative engineering solutions, IT solutions.
2. Social inclusion & accessibility: access of vulnerable groups to cycling – groups with special needs, elderly (increasing visibility and readability of obstacles), women, migrants (e.g. cycling schools), access to multimodal hubs, engineering solutions, IT systems, access to services, certification system.
