EIS partners are delighted to receive further funding from the Joint Secretariat under call 5 of Interreg Europe for extension activities. This further year of project activities enables us to explore the impact of Covid-19 on the internationalisation of SMEs in the participating regions (and beyond). A number of online meetings are planning for the remainder of 2021 with a research phase via a survey of SMEs and Business Support Organisations. In 2022, we plan to hold three physical workshops in Evora, Alentejo (Portugal) in January, Winchester, Hampshire (UK) in April, and Aarhus, Central Denmark in June to share and exchange lessons learned and strengthen our target policy instruments.
