The Action Plans are validated for implementation in the eight partner destinations of Cult-CreaTE project.

Dundee City Council, Scotland, UK

The first Action Plan to be validated is that of Dundee City Council, in Scotland, UK. The Dundee Action Plan is comprised of three actions:

Action 1: Develop business support activities for CCIs, encouraging them to participate in CCT.

Action 2: Utilise vacant city centre space/green-space to develop Pop-Up/Meanwhile uses for CCIs – ensuring a vibrant city centre for visitors,

Action 3: Develop new Dundee Tourism Strategy 2021-2025 – with CCI and CCT at its heart.

Naoussa Municipality, Greece

The second Action Plan to be validated is that of Naoussa Municipality, in Greece. The Naoussa Action Plan is comprised by three actions:

Action 1: Establishing Naoussa as “the city of Wine and Gastronomy” with local CCIs SMEs as main actors for Cultural and Creative tourism development (New Project).

Action 2: Establishment of a digital platform for strengthening the competitiveness of Naoussa’s CC SMEs by encouraging networking and creation of synergies (Improved Governance).

Action 3. Advancing the Digital Agenda in CCIs SMEs developing CCT products and services for increased SMEs competitiveness (Structural Change).

Kujawsko - Pomorskie Region, Poland

The third Action Plan to be validated is that of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region in Poland. This Action Plan is comprised by two actions:

Action 1: Storytelling in byulding a CCT product of the Piastowski Trail based on cooperation with SMEs and CCIs.

Action 2: Building a partnership model of integretaed management to increse the competitiveness of SMEs and CCIs.

Cork City Council, Republic of Ireland

The fourth Action Plan to be validated is that of Cork City Council in the Republic of Ireland. This Action Plan is comprised by two actions:

Action 1. Business development and mentoring programme tailored to transformative tourism for cultural & creative clusters / Improved Governance.

Action 2. Mobilisation of CCIs to explore future development of a City Centre ‘Creativity Hub’, including a ‘pop-up’ festival trial / Structural Change.

Vidzeme Tourism Association, Latvia

The fifth Action Plan to be validated is that of Videzeme Tourism Association in Latvia. This Action Plan is comprised by three actions:

Action 1: SME Business Development and Visibility: CCIs Forge Creative Tourism Via Co-Creation Days (New Project).

Action 2: Development of CCI & CCT Network to Facilitate SME Growth, Competitiveness, Development of New Skills and Knowledge (Improved Governance).

Action 3: Improving Policy Instrument – Upgrading VTA Tourism Strategy for CCT and CCI Synergies (Structural Change).

Veneto Region, Italy

The sixth Action Plan to be validated is that of Veneto Region in Italy. This Action Plan is comprised by three actions:

Action 1: Co-creating your musical itinerary in Padova, the city of composer Tartini and piano inventor Cristofori: a pilot action to support CCIs competitiveness and the development of CCT.

Action 2 – Co-creating the “Euganea Film Tour”, a new tourism experience in Terme and Colli Euganei.

Action 3 – Improving governance in the development of a new literary tourism product club.

Nicosia Tourism Board, Cyprus

The seventh Action Plan to be validated is that of Nicosia Tourism Board in Cyprus. This Action Plan is comprised by three actions:

Action 1: Implementing co-creation for the development of Cultural Tourism Products (New Project).

Action 2: Establishing a Cultural Creative Cluster for the promotion of CCT through synergies of CCIs and other SMEs (Improved Governance).

Action 3: Initiating a structural change in policy documents regarding CCIs competitiveness in Cyprus (Structural Change).

South Transdanubia, by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya, Hungary

The final Action Plan to be validated is that of South Transdanubia in Hungary, by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya. This Action Plan is comprised by three actions:

Action 1 Development of creative tourism through facilitating cooperation between businesses and non-governmental organizations in the cultural and creative industries,

Action 2 Op-Art Festival - creating creative spaces for creative tourism.

Action 3 Creative program guide online and offline for sustainable tourism development.
