Yesterday, July 8, the "BDCC- Basque District of Culture and Creativity" was presented in Bilbao. The objective is to help professionalize the management and improve the competitiveness of companies dedicated to the Cultural and Creative Industries (ICC) in the Basque Country.

The former Zorrozaurre Stamping and Boilerworks plant, today converted into the “La Terminal” Cultural and Creative Industry factory, symbol of the regenerative potential of culture, hosted the presentation of the Basque District of Culture and Creativity (BDCC), the Cultural and Creative District of the Basque Country. The presentation was attended by the Minister of Culture and Language Policy and Spokesperson of the Basque Government, Bingen Zupiria, the Director of Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship of the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government, Leyre Madariaga, and the general director of the Basque Innovation Agency-Innobasque, Leire Bilbao.

The Basque District of Culture and Creativity is one of the main actions included in the Basque Country’s CREADIS3 Action Plan.
