The 3rd Thematic Conference “Intelligent transport systems - from science to policy and from policy to real world” will focus on closing the gap between research, practice and policy implementation.
Keynote speakers such as the Portuguese Deputy Minister for Environment, José Gomes Mendes, the University of Aveiro Vice-Rector, Paulo Vila Real, the President of Centro Regional Coordination and Development Commission, Ana Abrunhosa, the former Director of ITRE (USA), Nagui Rouphail, the Director of Multi Modal Transport Solutions Ltd, Brian Masson, the Senior Researcher at Sustainable Transports Group of the RISE Viktoria, Daniel Rudmark, are confirmed presences.
A follow-up exchange of experience will take place in Águeda, a regional economic cluster on powered two-wheels’ industry & innovation. The 3rd Capacity Building Workshop (8th of March 2018) will be focused on ICT tools and necessary policy improvements for promoting soft and connected mobility. This event will feature a panel of professionals and researchers linked to the sectors of IT and soft mobility.
The internal meetings restricted to the CISMOB Consortium, working group and steering group meetings, will be held at the headquarters of the Centro Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-C), in Coimbra.
