Representatives of Avant Car, in cooperation with the City of Maribor, presented on 11th of July the Avant2Go project, which offers the sharing of 100% of electric cars. Soon the vehicle sharing will come to life in Maribor, thus planting another flag in the field of sustainable mobility. The main advantages of sharing are certainly reducing harmful emissions, noise and lesser losses from crowded roads. An important infrastructure part of the electric mobility will be the construction of system-connected charging stations, which will allow fast charging of vehicle batteries and will be locally designed to cover the key points in the city. The City of Maribor will start with five locations, where there will be 10 cars available. By the end of the year, both the range of vehicles and the number of car rental locations will be expanded.
