The 4th Interregional Learning Event took place on 19-20th June 2018 in Crete, Greece hosted by the Region of Crete .
The theme of the event was "The innovation of the tourism through synergies between private and public stakeholders”.

The first day of the event included a half-day public thematic workshop in Heraklion city to present the partners' Good Practices (GPs), as well as a short presentation by an invited speaker. Then, a restricted focus group was held by the project partners only, in order to  to evaluate and discuss the GPs. The focus group deepened the analysis through highly interactive sessions where each GP was separately reviewed. The relevance of the GPs was assessed according to several criteria such as their level of innovativeness, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and transferability.

To consolidate learning, the event was complemented on the 19th and 20th June  with several study visits to get to know some of the proposed Crete's GPs. The first study visit took place at the "Cretan Gastronomy Center" in Argiroupoli City, Rethymno Regional Unit. At the second day, the partners were transferred to Agios Nikolaos City, Lassithi Regional Unit, where they visited "BioAroma- Cretan natural cosmetics and food products" company.
Then, a Steering Group meeting was held by the partners in order to discuss about the Project coordination,  administrative and financial issues, as well as the next Interregional Learning Event. Later, the partners were transferred by boat to Spinalonga island, nominated for UNESCO World Heritage List,  for the last study visit followed by a short visit to Plaka town. After that, the project partners returned to Heraklion city.
