On 14 May 2021 (Friday), in strict compliance with the anti-epidemiological measures during the 2021 UMG Open Day, the European Perspectives Foundation and University of Mining and Geology "St. Ivan Rilski” held a stakeholder meeting.

More than 30 representatives of companies, Ministry of Environment and NGOs attended the REDUCES stakeholder meeting organised on the territory of the University of Mining and Geology in Sofia. The stakeholder meeting topic was Circular Economy for raw material industries and inclusion of business models in the educational programs at University level for both students and companies.

The project was presented to the best raw material companies in Bulgaria - Assarel-Medet AD, Dundee Precious Metals Bulgaria, Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD, Ellatzite-Med AD, Geotechmin, Gaztek BG AD and Rusgeocom BG AD, which showed in a bright, captivating and accessible way the face of the industry and once again that the circular economy is not a new concept for them. Different circular business models have been introduced into the industry for years, thus the industry states its firm position on the subject.
