Exchange of experiences workshop and study visit in Bologna

The upcoming MINEV exchange of experiences workshop and study visit in Bologna will take place over two days and will feature a variety of presentations, discussions, and study visits to showcase innovative initiatives.

Day 1: Project overview and stakeholder engagement

The first day of the MINEV Project will kick off with a flash presentation, outlining the project's objectives, introducing its partners, and providing an overview of the current status and pending actions.

The day will continue with an engaging session where stakeholders will introduce themselves, showcasing the diverse array of organisations and individuals involved in the project. One of the highlights of the day will be a training seminar featuring experts from various fields. These experts will discuss existing initiatives and projects, challenges, and opportunities in waste minimisation

The MINEV partners will make a study visit to the "Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit".

Day 2: Exploring sustainable urban spaces and workshops

On the second day of the MINEV Project, participants will embark on study visits and workshops that delve deeper into sustainable event practices.

Study Visit to DumBO (Bologna Multifunctional Urban District): Participants will explore the DumBO, a temporary urban regeneration space, showcasing sustainable event infrastructure. This initiative is a great example of how communities, businesses, and citizens can collaborate to transform urban spaces for sustainable events.

In the workshop for exchange of experiences segment, partners and stakeholders will share their experiences and best practices in waste minimisation in different types of large events, including:

• Waste Minimisation in Big Sports Events
• Waste Minimisation in Big Religious Events
• Waste Minimisation in Big Traveling/Pilgrimage Events

These workshops will provide valuable insights into the specific challenges and successes in each event category.
