The fourth Exchange of Experience of Innova-FI will be held in Valencia, Spain from 18 to 20 September 2019. The meeting organised by Valencia Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) will focus on 'Guarantee-type instruments’, in light of these being a viable tool to reduce risk of lender and favour the provision of financing to innovative businesses.
Similar to previous exchanges of experiences, the event will consist of two working days with all the stakeholders. During the first day, partners will learn about Valencia region experience in Financial Instruments for innovation and R&D, and on the second day, a thematic workshop will be organised focusing on guarantee type of instruments. Potential study visits/learning workshops include the Valencia Institute of Finance, the Mutual Guarantee Society of Valencia Region and a joint session with Valencia Regional Observatory in Innovation Financing.
